On the afternoon of March 4, 2025, H.E. Peng Porsa, Governor of Svay Rieng Province, inspected the project to upgrade the quality of the border ring road. The project involves transforming the red-gravel road into a concrete road and installing solar lights, covering a length of 11 kilometers and a width of 6 meters, starting from border post 171 in Bavet Sangkat to border post 175 in Prasat Sangkat.
Also present on the occasion were His Excellency the Deputy Provincial Governor, the Provincial Police Commissioner, the Director of the Provincial Administration Department, the Deputy Director of the Provincial Inter-Sectoral Coordination Department, heads of relevant departments, the Governor and Deputy Governors of Bavet City, representatives of private companies, and a number of other relevant authorities.
